warm water issuenoisy ac
The bathroom situation was a bit of a letdown. warm water seemed to only appear on fridays. Talk about inconvenient. also, the phones in the room? totally useless. i had to trek down to reception every time i needed something. like some sort of medieval peasant. the ac unit also sounded like a freight train. not conducive to a good night's sleep.

The location was awesome. Just a ten-minute walk to the haram! plenty of lifts meant no waiting around, a real bonus. taxis were always available right outside the hotel. Talk about convenient. my room had a comfortable bed! and a safe box too, so i could keep my stuff secure.
my room felt a bit small. there was no chair or table so i had to eat on the floor. the carpet could use a good clean and i didn't get daily housekeeping service. i had to ask for a teaspoon!

The front desk was really helpful. They always had someone ready to assist with directions. housekeeping quickly responded to my requests! i needed extra towels and they brought them right up!

the proximity to the haram was a major plus. there were many gift shops around the hotel! i bought some souvenirs for my family. finding places to eat nearby was also really easy.

useless phoneannoying disturbance
The room phone was completely useless. I couldn't even call for room service. also, i didn't find a dental kit in the bathroom, a bit annoying. to top it off, housekeeping kept knocking, disturbing my sleep to ask if i needed anything. seriously?!

nearby masjiddownward slope
the location is near masjid al-haram!!! taking the escalator at anjum hotel helps when going to the masjid. coming back is much easier if you use the escalator at anjum hotel, as it's a downward slope afterward.
the non-smoking room had a slight smell of cigarettes.

the reception process impressed me with its speed and professionalism the traditional dates and saudi coffee were a lovely touch the employee on our floor provided excellent service by delivering fresh water towels and toiletries each day. i found the six available lifts very convenient ensuring i never had to wait long.
i did notice that the air conditioning unit was a bit noisy which slightly impacted the peacefulness of the room at times.

the hotel has six lifts providing easy and quick access to all floors i found this to be a significant advantage especially during peak hours when many guests are moving around the premises. it made getting to and from my room really effortless.

the employee on our floor stood out for their really good kindness every day they ensured we had fresh water clean towels and all necessary toiletries creating a sense of being well cared for. their proactive service enriched our stay.
